As the new season draws ahead, I might suggest in your selection of colours you consider to use light, airy, harmonious shades throughout your house, as it takes a certain amount of flair to combine lots of diverse colours successfully. The golden rule is: if in doubt, leave it out! A couple of colours to think of are Gardenia, Orchard and Ivory. If a bold influence is needed within your colour scheme, Taffeta Tan and similar shades would add a suitable contrast to these light colours. Following this idea into fabrics, lightly printed voils and the use of modern, heavily-textured and embossed materials, in unison with the colours chosen, will give a fresh, sharp look for the new season.
